Recording and Production
I consider recording and production to be two parts of the same movement. When recording, my primary goal is always to display the artist in as authentic a light as possible. By the time the project is tracked, it ought to sound like nothing other than that artist. I recommend if you use me to record, that you also use me to mix, because there are so many things to be taken note of in the recording processes that often times the recording engineer has the next best vision to that of the artist for how the song ought to sound. Mixing
I also offer mixing services, I do not need to have tracked the project to mix it. My ethic of mixing is essentially the same as my ethic of recording and production, but when it comes to mixing my approach is to clearly bring out each piece of the recording so that each instrument and component of the song or songs is heard as the player would desire. Mastering
Largely considered one of the biggest “black boxes” in the whole enterprise of production, I also offer this as a service. I recommends that if an artist has worked with me for both recording and mixing, that they use another qualified professional mastering engineer (I do have personnel recommendations). However, for the artist looking for a mastering engineer at a budget price, I am ready, willing, and able. Please contact with information on your project for a pricing quote.
Artists who have worked with Pat
Alyssa Gillen
Alyssa Gillen is a singer-songwriter originally from Florida and now based out of Dallas, TX. In 2022 Alyssa and Pat met at Opening Bell Coffee and started work on her debut release. Pat was contracted to record, mix, and master what would become the EP big world. The whole process took just under a year, beginning in February and finally being released on December 28th of 2022. By working with Alyssa, Pat had his first experience recording a cat’s meow.
Alyssa and Pat are currently in discussion about future singles and releases.

Hayden Spears
Hayden has worked with Pat since they went to school together at South Plains College in Levelland, TX. One night the artist whom Pat had scheduled to record didn’t show up, so he called Hayden and asked if he had any songs to record. Thankfully, he did. This recording session began Pat’s longest running collaborative partnership. Since then, they’ve recorded a hand full of songs for South Plains College, as well as four singles (“Swayze,” “Darlin’,” “Ruins,” and the upcoming “These Endless Nights”), and Hayden’s sophomore album “Mountain of Lies.” Pat produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered all of the singles and albums listed.
Hayden and Pat continue to work together. They are currently recording an EP of Hayden’s newest songs.

Here are two of the singles, which Hayden and Pat have worked together on as mentioned above, namely “Swayze” and “Ruins".”
Morgan Reatherford
Morgan and Pat met at South Plains College, but did not substantially work together until after they both graduated. Morgan used Pat as the recording and mixing engineer for her and Hayden Spears’ cover of “To June This Morning” by Kacey Musgraves and Ruston Kelly. Additionally, Morgan hired Pat to mix and record vocals for her cover of “Present Without a Bow” by Kacey Musgraves.
Morgan appears singing harmony vocals on Pat’s music and Hayden Spears’ music.

Dustin and Ashley B Pedigo
Dustin and Ashley B Pedigo both earned their chops playing music in Lubbock, TX, Dustin as a bass player and Ashley B as a singer. Together they form a powerful performing and songwriting duo. They met Pat while Dustin was tracking bass for a funk band and Pat was acting as assistant for the all analog recording session.
The Pedigos have recorded an EP of jazz standards with Pat. This EP is in the final phases of production with an album of original music in the works as well.
Currently, Dustin serves as the regular bass player for Pat’s recording sessions, having appeared on albums by Pat himself and Hayden Spears. Ashley B appears on Pat’s projects singing harmony and on the duet “Trying to Let You Go.”
